SLAYER's KERRY KING Talks About What's In His CD Player

August 10, 2007

YeboTV, a next generation web-based TV network, has uploaded a short video clip of SLAYER guitarist Kerry King talking about the music that he is currently listening to. Watch the video below.

YeboTV will stream SLAYER's concert at the San Diego Sports Arena on Saturday, August 25 starting just before 8:00 p.m. PDT. This will be a live, real-time stream viewable to fans globally on www.YeboTV.com. In addition, fans can access the broadcast on Slayer.net, HotTop.com, and esp.com.

The San Diego concert is a stop on SLAYER's current North American co-headline tour with MARILYN MANSON and is in support of the release of SLAYER's "Christ Illusion, Special Limited Edition" CD/DVD (American Recordings) which hit stores on July 24.

SLAYER's re-release of the "Christ Illusion" album sold a little over 2,300 copies in the first seven days after it was reissued on July 24 through Columbia Records. The total number of "Christ Illusion" copies sold in the U.S. to date is approximately 173,000.

SLAYER's "Christ Illusion" reissue contains the previously unreleased cut "The Final Six", as well as an alternate version of "Black Serenade". It also boasts a bonus DVD called "Slayer on Tour '07" which includes the "Eyes of the Insane" video; a live rendition of the band's 1988 LP track "South of Heaven" that was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, on last year's "Unholy Alliance" run; and a behind-the-scenes, five-minute documentary-style montage of footage shot earlier this year when the band performed in Florida and Australia.
